Utilitas awarded the Gold Label for Responsible Business

Utilitas once again received the Gold Level Responsible Business Label

“The Gold Label confirms that we remain firmly on course – developing our operations responsibly, contributing to the advancement of Estonia’s energy system, and progressing step by step towards our carbon neutrality goals. Sustainability, reducing environmental impact, good governance, and employee well-being are not separate projects for us; they are an integral part of our day-to-day management. The Gold Label is recognition of what we have achieved so far, but even more importantly, it motivates us to continue on a responsible path and create long-term value for our customers, employees, partners, and society as a whole,” said Kaire Kuldpere, Environmental Manager of Utilitas.

The Responsible Business Index is Estonia’s oldest and most dignified ESG tool in use. It is a good development tool that helps to thoroughly understand the social responsibility of your organisation in the environmental, social and economic dimensions (ESG – environmental, social, governance). Participation in the index contributes to the fact that social responsibility becomes part of the daily functioning of more and more Estonian companies.
